Family owned for over 110 years, the business had been operating in a collection of cramped residential structures. When an adjacent warehouse became available, the Carter family made the decision to renovate the space and add a new sales/reception area fronting the street. The largely open structure highlights several of the company's products, notably their skill in fine millwork.   1990
